Traditional Authority Kyungu has described the National Addressing (NAS) project as one of the initiatives that Malawi was supposed to implement long time ago.
He was speaking during the District Executive Committee (DEC) awareness meeting in Karonga district where members were briefed on the benefits of the project.
T/A Kyungu also commended Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) for implementing the project which he said will ease location identification.
The postcodes were already developed and gazetted in 2019 and all areas/locations in Malawi have their own postcodes.
