MACRA PROVIDES ICT ACCESS TO INSTITUTIONS

Recently MACRA supported various institutions with funds which were later on used to buy items according to their respective requests.

The Malawi Adventist University received K15 million with which they managed to buy computers and servers.

With schools closed due to Corona Virus, this development has facilitated e-learning for students are able to access academic materials while at home.

Malawi Council for the Handicap (MACOHA) received K10 million to buy computers and furniture.

MACRA board member, Mphatso Gadama  handed over the donation  to MACOHA at its Bangwe weaving factory.

Receiving the donation, MACOHA’s executive director, Georgina Navicha said the computers will help to finalise the service automation process at the factory.

Another beneficiary was the Blantyre District council who received  M4 million.

With it, the office is able to afford internet connectivity and they also bought laptops for senior officers.
