MACRA Hands over 25 Satellite Phones to DODMA

We have handed over Twenty-five (25) satellite phones to the Department of Disaster Management Affairs (DODMA) to be used for critical communication in the affected areas. International Telecommunications Union (ITU) has assisted Malawi through MACRA with the satellite phones which will be distributed to strategic places to ease communication after cyclone Freddy hit the Southern part of Malawi.
