Every year, MACRA joins the international community to celebrate the day. This is a day which the Universal Postal Union (UPU), an arm of the United Nations, set aside in 1969 to celebrate its anniversary since it was created in 1874 and to create awareness on the importance of the postal services to people and the socio-economic development of nations.
